Detailed Itinerary of 5 Days Amboseli & Masai Mara Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi – Transfer to Amboseli National Park
On arrival in Nairobi at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a representative from Sambu Africa Safaris. He will brief you about the safari and what to expect and then embark on a journey to Amboseli National Park.
Arrive in time for lunch which you will enjoy at your lodge after settling in. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring the park with a knowledgeable guide, lookout for herds of elephants, buffaloes and several other wildlife species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Explore Amboseli National Park
Spend the day exploring Amboseli National Park on morning and afternoon game drive with picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites under an acacia tree. Set on the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli National Park boasts a scenic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro’s snowcapped summit and is home to various animals include large herds of elephants which you will see on move searching for water as well as other animals.
In the late afternoon, enjoy a guide walk in the private concession for a close encounter with animals, birds as well as nature. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Masai Mara
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your domestic flight to Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon landing, you will be met by our representative and be transferred to your lodge for settling in and lunch.
In the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring the savannah plains searching for wildlife. Expect to see lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, gazelles, giraffes, and several bird species. As the sunsets, you will return to your camp for an evening of rest, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Discover the Masai Mara
Today, we explore the iconic savannah plains of Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. Masai Mara National Reserve is the most popular safari destination in East Africa, home to the Big 5 and the Great Wildebeest Migration.
On your game drives, be on a lookout for several wildlife species including lions, cape buffaloes, cheetahs, rhinos, wildebeests and several bird species. Your lunch is served at one of the picnic sites in the reserve, continue exploring the reserve till evening. As the sunsets, return to your lodge for an evening of rest, dinner and overnight stay.
