Day By Day Itinerary of 11 Days Romantic East Africa Safari
Day -1: Lake Manyara National Park
On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will be meet by our representative and be transferred to Arusha Airport for a scheduled flight to Lake Manyara Airstrip, arriving in one of Tanzania’s most picturesque national parks – Lake Manyara National Park.
You will be warmly welcomed by our guide and be transferred to your lodge to settle in. Later in the afternoon you will head out to enjoy game drives in search of tree climbing lions, elephants and abundant birdlife. You can choose between a night game drive or a scenic ride exploring the park’s diverse landscapes.
Spend evenings immersed in the sounds of the forest, dining beneath the stars.

Day 3-4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Travel into the Ngorongoro Highlands and arrive at lodge perched on the rim of the Crater with sweeping views. On your days in Ngorongoro Conservation Area you will enjoy two visits to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, home to one of the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa.
During the game drive, lookout for black rhino, large elephant bulls, big – maned lions, zebras, cheetahs, gazelles, wildebeests, buffaloes among other vast herds of plains game. Also visit Lake Magadi where you will see pink flamingoes on the shores of the lake. Return to the lodge reach evening to watch the sunset over this extraordinary natural amphitheatre.

Day 5-7: Serengeti National Park
Fly to Serengeti National Park, arriving in the remote northern region near Kogatende. You will be picked up by your driver guide and be driven to your camp to settle in.
Spend three days exploring the open plains on expertly guided game drives, with opportunities to witness the Great Migration (a seasonal occurrence). Keep an eye out for several the vast game including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, cheetahs, giraffes, spotted hyenas, wildebeests, zebras among others.
Enjoy private, lantern – lit dinners and the romance of sleeping beneath canvas in the heart of the wilderness.

Day 8-10: Mnemba Island
Fly from the Serengeti to Zanzibar, continuing by boat to the exclusive &Beyond Mnemba Island. Settle into your beachfront banda on this private island paradise.
Spend three blissful days swimming, snorkeling, diving or simply relaxing on powder – white beaches. Enjoy fresh seafood candlelit dinner and moonlit walks along the shoreline, serenaded by the sounds of the waves.

Day 11: Departure
Today is the last day on your safari. After breakfast, depart Mnemba Island by boat and scheduled transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport.
Fly onward to Dar es Salaaam where you will be transferred to Julius Nyerere International Airport for your onward journey.
