Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park where we will spend the day and enjoy a delicious picnic lunch. The park is nestled at the base of the rusty gold Great Rift Valley Escarpment and the scenic landscape is breathtaking.
Wildlife you can expect to see in Lake Manyara National Park during the game drive include baboons, monkeys, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas and the ferocious hippos that inhabit the lake.
The park hosts over 300 species of birds, some of which are migratory, making it the ideal location for bird waters. Thousands of pink-hued flamingoes on the shores of the lake, other birds include large water birds including pelicans, storks, and cormorants.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha
We will start the day early and head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for a game drive with picnic lunch in the crater.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area is one of the most famous and interesting of Tanzania’s national parks because here you can find the greatest number of different animal species per square kilometer. Meaning you are proficient to be spotting every member of the big five within one day. The big five including buffaloes, elephants, rhinos, lions and leopards. Other wildlife you can expect to see include zebras, hippos, wildebeests, and hyenas. The craters also exhibit a large – scale of bird population counting geese, storks and vultures.
You will visit Lake Magadi where you will be pleased by the view of lovely flamingoes on the Soda Lake, where you will be offered lunchboxes then continue with game viewing. In the evening, you will proceed back to the hotel in Arusha or at the airport where you will be dropped off to catch your fight back home, bringing your safari to an end.
