Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a Sambu Africa Safaris Representative and departure for Masai Mara National Reserve with a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara – the most famous safari destination in Kenya. The journey is approximately 5.5 hours. Have a stop for some time at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint on the way, to enjoy the amazing views of the largest valley in the world, said to be visible from outer space.
Arrive at your lodge in Masai Mara in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive allowing spot the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as lions, cheetahs, lions, rhinos, elephants and wildebeests among others. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive
Today you will you enjoy two safari game drives, one in the morning from 6.15 am to 9 am, followed by breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. Usually the wildlife is more active during these times of the day. As your Masai Mara safari is private, your game drive timings will be flexible, useful if you are traveling with children, or are on a honeymoon.
Also, you may choose to have a full day game drive (one for the whole day) with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Departure
After a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge by 8:30 am, depart for return road transfer back to Nairobi (as per the latest park rules) all visitors are expected to exit the reserve before 10 am. Expected time of arrival in Nairobi is early afternoon (typically by 2.30 p).
You will be dropped off at your hotel or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight home.
