Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Tsavo East and Tsavo West Mombasa Safari
Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East
Your driver-guide meets you at your hotel in Mombasa and then embark on a journey to Tsavo East National Park for a day of wildlife sightings. When you arrive in the park, you will go on a game drive on which you will have good chances to spot the endangered black rhinos, hippos, buffaloes, elephants, lions, and giraffes among others.
Tsavo East National Park’s wildlife is active during the early hours, so you will see quite a bit. Enjoy lunch at your lodge after check-in and return to the park for game viewing. As the sunsets, the animals settle, you will head back to your lodge for dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Tsavo East to Tsavo West
Start you day early with an early morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park while it is still cool and the animals are moving around. Lookout for hippos, rhinos, buffaloes, elephants, lions, giraffes and leopards and several bird species. After a few hours of game viewing, you will continue on to Tsavo West National Park where you will do more game viewing and see the different landscapes there. By evening you will have dinner back at the lodge and settle in for the night.

Day 3: Tsavo West to Mombasa
You will start the day with a game drive timed to catch the sunrise and track wildlife until noon. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast, check out and have one final game drive as you make your way back toward Mombasa. Enjoy lunch along the route and when you arrive in Mombasa, you will be dropped off at your hotel or at the airport for your return flight.
