Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Lake Mburo National Park Safari
Day 1: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park – Game Drive
After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala or after pick up at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our company representative. He will brief you about the safari and what to expect, then embark on a journey to Lake Mburo National Park – the smallest savannah park in Uganda. It is a journey of approximately 3-4 hours with a stopover at the Equator Crossing in Kayabwe for an opportunity to stand in both Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
When you arrive in the park you will embark on a game drive as you head to your lodge for check in and lunch. In the afternoon you will head out for another game drive exploring the park, common animals you will see including zebras, impalas, waterbucks, warthogs, buffaloes, and several bird species. As the sunsets on the beautiful landscape, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Optional Activity: Embark on a night safari looking for nocturnal wildlife species such as elusive hyenas and leopards which are active during the hours in Lake Mburo National Park.

Day 2: Morning Walking Safari and Transfer to Farm Lodge
Wake up early and set out for a walk in the savannah for up-close encounter with several wildlife species including zebras and giraffes as well as enjoying the scenic lush landscapes. Return to the lodge for a full breakfast, check out of your lodge and transfer to the Ankole Farm Lodge where you will enjoy lunch and settle in, later you will join the herdsmen who are grazing the animals. Interact with the herdsmen and beautiful Ankole long – horned cows, learn so much about this unique cow.

Day 3: Ankole Cow Farm Experience and Transfer Back to Kampala
Wake up early to join the herdsmen in milking the cows and preparing milk products and then take cows out for grazing. Also, you will go for a visit to the local communities and see other local farming activities such as growing crops. Later you shall return to the lodge for late breakfast, check out and head back to Kampala where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport for your flight back home.
