Detailed Itinerary of 5 Days Double Gorilla Trekking in Uganda
Day 1: Arrival, Pick Up
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport by our representative and be transferred to your hotel in Kampala. Spend the rest of the day at your hotel making good use of the facilities.

Day 2: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your domestic flight to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On landing at Kisoro Airstrip, you will be met by our representative and be transferred to your lodge where you will spend the rest of the day at rest as you prepare for the next day’s adventure.

Day 3: First Gorilla Trek in Buhoma Sector
Have early breakfast, meet your guide and head to the park headquarters for briefing about gorilla trekking. A senior guide from Uganda Wildlife Authority will take you through dos and don’t’s to follow on this amazing trek. In groups of 8 people headed by an armed ranger guide, head into the forests in Bwindi looking for mountain gorillas.
The trek through Bwindi Forest takes approximately 2-6 hours depending on the movement of mountain gorillas and where they spent their previous night, along the trek you will encounter other forest creatures such as elephants and monkeys. When you locate the gorilla family, you will be allowed one hour of being in the presence of mountain gorillas, observe them go on with their life in the forest, groom each other and peak fruits and leaves to eat. You are allowed to take pictures as long as your flash light is off, as it irritates the gorillas and might make them agitated.
Trek back to the starting point, pick your gorilla certificate, meet your guide and head back to your lodge.

Day 4: Second gorilla Trek in Rushaga Sector
Today you will have a second gorilla trek in Bwindi Forest, however this time you will trek a different gorilla family. This allows you to get a different perspective into the gorilla family dynamics and enjoy more time with mountain gorillas.
After the amazing gorilla trekking experience, you will drive return to your lodge for an evening of rest and if you would like, go for a cultural experience in the Batwa Village. As the sunsets, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and be transferred to the airstrip to catch your flight back to Entebbe International Airport where you will connect your for departure flight.
