Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Masai Mara
Your Sambu Africa Safaris Driver – Guide will meet you at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport upon arrival or after breakfast at your hotel in Nairobi. Depart of a picturesque drive descending the Great Rift Valley heading to Masai Mara National Reserve, the most famous reserve in Africa.
The journey is approximately 5 hours. Expect to arrive at your camp in Masai Mara at around 3.30 pm for check in and lunch. In the afternoon you will go for your first game drive, allowing spotting of the Masai Mara’s amazing wildlife ranging from the Big Cats such as Lions, Leopard and cheetah to Rhino among others. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Masai Mara Safari
Today you will have two game drives, one in the morning before breakfast and the other in the later afternoon after lunch. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your Masai Mara Safari is private, your game drive timings are flexible and convenient, perfect for photographers and those traveling with children. Also, you may choose to have a full day game drive with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Returning to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Days 3 & 4: Full Day Safari in Masai Mara
Spend these two days exploring Masai Mara National Reserve and following the Great Wildebeest Migration.
Wake up early for your early morning game drive which is a perfect time to see Masai Mara’s great wildlife. After a relaxed breakfast, return to the reserve for an immersive game drive visiting other regions and enjoy more incredible sightings of wildlife. Enjoy picnic lunch and continue with your game drive till sunset. Some of the animals to lookout for include lions, wildebeests, gazelles, elephants, cheetahs, African wild dogs, giraffes among others.

Day 5: Return to Nairobi    Â
After a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and proceed on a road transfer back to Nairobi with a brief morning game drive en-route. Note; you are expected to be out of Masai Mara National Reserve by 10 am.
After lunch in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure back home, bringing your Masai Mara Safari to an end.
