Detailed Itinerary of 3 Days Wildebeest Migration Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Masai Mara
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative, after a short briefing about the safari and what to expect you will drive to Masai Mara National Reserve with a stop at the Rift Valley View Point where you will be treated to scenic views of the Rift Valley Escarpments that are said to be visible from above. Have another stop in Narok for an interaction with the local people and purchase some local artifacts.
Arrive at your lodge in Masai Mara National Reserve in time for lunch. Later in the afternoon you will go for your first game drive in the Mara Triangle in search for wildlife including the migrating wildebeests. Other animals to lookout for include lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, gazelles, elands, zebras, giraffes among others. At sunset, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Game Drives in Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, you will head out for a full day game drive in Masai Mara’s Mara Triangle following the Great Migration and searching for other wildlife species. The Mara Triangle in Masai Mara National Reserve hosts a huge concentration of wildlife including the annual Wildebeest Migration and during the game drive you will see large columns of the herds while on their annual journey in search for water and green pasture.
Also, be on a lookout for predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs and African wild dogs as they prey on the migrating herds. You will enjoy picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites in the reserve and continue with the game drive till evening. Return to your lodge for an evening of rest, join other visitors at a campfire, enjoy dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Nairobi
Today is the last day of your Great Wildebeest Migration Safari in Masai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast, you will go for an en-route game drive as you exit the reserve and drive back to Nairobi City, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
