Detailed Itinerary of 9 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
On landing at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide and be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. Depending on your arrival you will have a visit to the Giraffe Centre where you get to feed to giraffes and take a safari walk around the sanctuary enjoying the backdrop of Nairobi’s skyline and encounter with several animals including warthogs among others.
Enjoy the evening at your hotel, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Visit the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage – Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Wake up early for breakfast and head to Nairobi National Park for a morning game drive. This park is one of a kind and during the game drive you will spot several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, giraffes and rhinos, and the impressive backdrop of Nairobi’s towering buildings.
Leave the park and head the Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage to feed the orphaned elephants. After this amazing experience, embark on a journey to Amboseli with en-route lunch.
On arrival in Amboseli, you will be welcomed by the beautiful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro during the game drive as you head to your lodge. Check, have an evening of rest, enjoy dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive & Guided Walking Safari
Spend a full day on safari in Amboseli National Park on game drives and guided walking safari. After breakfast you will head to Amboseli for a game drive on which you will discover several wildlife species such as large herds of elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes among others.
Return to your lodge for lunch and short rest. Later in the day you will go on a guided walk on which you will have a close encounter with several wildlife species including zebras, giraffes and gazelles. The walking safari gives you an opportunity to see little animals you would have missed while on a game drive and explore several parts of the park not accessed by vehicles led by armed guide.

Day 4: Transfer to Tsavo West – Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast, exit the park and drive to Tsavo West National Park arriving in time for lunch after checking into your lodge. Tsavo West National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Kenya and on your afternoon game drive you will see the famous Man Eaters – lions, red elephants, buffaloes, gazelles among others.
As the sunsets, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Morning Game Drive in Tsavo West and Afternoon Game Drive in Tsavo East
After breakfast, head to the park for a morning game drive exploring the park more and enjoy sighting of several other wildlife species you missed on the last day’s game drive. Exit the park and head to Tsavo East National Park which is separated from Tsavo West National Park by a railway.
On arrival in Tsavo East National Park, check in at your lodge for lunch and short rest. In the afternoon you will go for a game drive on which you will see several animals including spotted hyenas, impala, waterbucks, elephants, warthogs, giraffes, marsh mangoose, buffaloes and baboons among others. As the sunsets, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
Wake up early for breakfast, check out of the lodge and embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park with en-route game drive. It is a journey of approximately 4 hours, expect to arrive in time for lunch at your lodge after check-in.
In the afternoon you will go for a game drive exploring Lake Nakuru National Park. Expect to see Rothschild Giraffes, herds of elephants and buffaloes, zebras, leopards, warthogs and large flocks of flamingoes on the shores of the alkaline Lake Nakuru.

Day 7: Morning Game Drive – Transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve
With a morning game drive as you exit Lake Nakuru National Park and journey to the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve – the most popular safari destination in Africa. It is a journey of 4-5 hours, so expect to arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon you will go for your first game drive exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara and enjoy incredible sightings of several animals including herds of wildebeests, giraffes, gazelles, African wild dogs and the stunning landscape of the reserve dominated by endless plains.

Day 8: Full Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
Spend a full day exploring Masai Mara National Reserve on full day game drives with picnic lunch set at one of the picnic sites in the reserve along the Mara River. Located in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, bordering the Serengeti National Park. Masai Mara National Reserve is one of the best safari destinations in Africa known for incredible Big 5 sightings and the annual Great Wildebeest Migration.
During the game drives you will enjoy excellent sightings of several animals including lions, leopards, cape buffaloes, wildebeests, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, cheetahs, warthogs, elands, hartebeests, African wild dogs and several bird species. In late afternoon you will head to the Masai Village for a cultural experience, you will be entertained by local dances and drama, taste some local dishes and interact with the local people giving you an insight into their traditions, culture and lifestyle which has not be affected by modernity and technology.

Day 9: Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, check out of your lodge and journey back to Nairobi where you will be dropped off at drop off at the airport for your departure flight.
